I learned via Becky Johnson at The Sweetie Pie Press about Shannon Gerard's latest endeavor: illustrating Facebook profile pictures to celebrate (and spread the word of) the launch of Sword of My Mouth, a graphic novel she illustrated. My dear brother, Josué, just sent me these incriminating pictures. By the looks of those awful glasses, I think I was in 6th grade (so I was 12 years old).

I don't know what's worse: the gigantic glasses, the shoulder pads, or the frail body underneath.
